Black Friday Party!!!
The Raindance Festival is a community outreach program designed to give back to the music community.
The year long audition process starts in Feb. at open mic nights in Olympia Washington. Our volunteers record and upload the videos to Youtube the top 15 videos are invited to the Raindance semifinals Black Friday Party November 24th @ The Oly Underground in Olympia WA. The top 6 move on to the Raindance festival which is held every January over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. The semifinalists perform before judges from the music industry and the top 2 of each category are selected for live performance and the People's choice award that evening at the Raindance Festival. This year the Festival will be Jan 12th at the Eagles in Olympia Wa. the theme is Dinner concert. Dinner will be served by PNWA Competition BBQ team Smokin O's and the musicians will perform 30 min sets. The people's vote uses voting tickets to help the festival to select the Best of and 1st runner up at the Raindance Festival 2018.

3 What are your plans for your music (direction)
4 MC judge question (Ric Greenwalt)
5 Returning judge question (Trevor Yunker)
Judging criteria are 25 pts each:
1 Musicianship (instrumental ability and vocals),
2 Appearance (appropriate for genre),
3 Stage Presence (audience interaction and interview),
4 Overall reaction to performance (from interview to leaving stage)
