Welcome to the home of A FAB World's Brothers Keeper Program.
Brothers Keeper is an emergency needs and apprenticeship program to help disabled women and veterans get back on their feet. It also provides opportunities for youth to get involved with and gain experience helping out a local charity!
You can help out: Volunteer, donate products, food clothing or cash to help make a difference.

ABC Apprenticeship Program:
ABC Youth Charity Apprenticeship program brought to you in cooperation by:
Barbs Family and Friends and A FAB World charity
A: Getting your feet wet
1. Orientation (1 hour at their school or location with their adult)
2. Supervised tabling (2 hours a week for 3 weeks)
3. Unsupervised tabling (1 a month or more often)
B: Making a commitment
1. Fliers, making and handing out Supervised
2. Fliers & donations for event and event setup/breakdown Supervised
3. Fliers & donations for event and event setup/breakdown Unsupervised
(visiting local business and churches/groups)
C: Winning for charity
1. Orientation, internet searching, database entry and updating
2. Search and 1st contact, finding the person to call or email
(send 1st email, give phone # to BFF) supervised
3. Search and 1st contact, finding the person to call or email. includes grants etc. Supervised
4. Same as 3 unsupervised
5. Graduate by finding and applying for funds such as grants or other monies generally available.
Supervised means BFF or AFAB will be there, Unsupervised means the group has a trained adult to provide the supervision.
After graduation of program that group is now available for reviving a % of funds secured for their own group. A base 5% per group with
10% for group who raised the most that year, 9% for 2nd place, 8% for 3rd, 7% for 4th and 6% for 5th.
Emergency Response:
Providing Health, Hygiene, First Aid, Food, and Clothing "care packages" for those most at risk in our community.
Pay what you can Food Truck:
The results of outreach through tabling and public events community outreach and education by tabling at stores and events. Soliciting donations from a shopping list at stores all the way to hosting a specific event to raise resources and awareness to help make Brothers Keeper succeed! This program needs/costs $65,000 per year per food truck to do basic operations and provide an apprenticeship program while being a pay what you can food truck. There are currently 3 Food trucks available for this program at an annual operating and maintenance cost of $65,000 each or $195,000 for all 3 each year.
