The Raindance Festival is a community outreach project designed to give back to the music community. The year long audition process starts in Feb. at open mic nights in Olympia Washington. Our volunteers record and upload the videos to Youtube and in December the videos with the most likes are invited to the Raindance festival. The Raindance festival is held every January over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. The semifinalists perform before judges from the music industry and the top 2 of each category are selected for live performance and the People's choice award that evening when the people vote with their ticket to the festival to select the Best of and 1st runner up at the Raindance Festival. Charities that work to end homeless and hunger are invited to the Raindance festival to share the work they are doing in the community!
